Joe Bryant

DPT, OCS – Owner

Joe joined the Next Level team in January 2008. Joe has spent his whole life in the sports world both as an athlete and a coach. Joe began his healthcare career by working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from the University of Northern Colorado. The next chapter for Joe was obtaining his Doctoral of Physical Therapy degree from University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Joe has attended numerous continuing education courses in specialized treatment of the hip. Joe specializes in manual and therapeutic interventions for a wide variety of hip syndromes. Joe enjoys continued education and collaboration with many great local hip surgeons. Joe is a board certified orthopedic clinical specialist. Joe has implemented a functional sports test, to evaluate the ability for an athlete to return to sport following a lower body injury. He has presented this test at numerous professional conferences and classes. Joe enjoys mentoring staff and students and watching this amazing team grow. Joe is level 2 dry needle certified as well as certified in blood flow restriction, Joe enjoys spending as much time as possible with his wife and 3 young children. When not at work you will likely find Joe coaching one of his kids or enjoying time with his wonderful family.

Jim Keller

ATC – Owner, Founder

Jim opened Next Level Sports Performance doors in 2004, following a 10-year career as the assistant athletic trainer for the National Football League’s (NFL’s) Denver Broncos. This was an experience that gave him unique insight into elite-level training and rehabilitation techniques that he now shares with clients through his personalized approach. Overall, Jim is backed by more than 30 years of experience in working with injured and non-injured professional and collegiate athletes. A Colorado native, he earned his bachelor’s degree in exercise science at Fort Lewis College and his master’s degree in kinesiology from University of Northern Colorado. Today, Jim is an active member of the National Athletic Trainers Association, the Colorado Athletic Trainers Association and the Rocky Mountain Athletic Trainer’s Society and speaks frequently at both local and national industry symposiums.

Travis Dehne

DPT, OCS - Manager

Travis joined the Next Level team in January 2014. He is a Colorado native who grew up playing soccer and has been involved in a variety of other sports throughout his life. He played soccer at Westminster College in Salt Lake City, UT where he received his Bachelor of Science in Biology. During his time there he sustained several injuries which led him to pursue a career in physical therapy. He then received is Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at the University of Colorado. He is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association Orthopedics section. Travis is a board certified orthopedic clinical specialist. Travis is certified through Kinetacore in level two Functional Dry Needling. He is also certified through Owens Recovery Science in Blood Flow Restrictions. Travis enjoys exercising, and doing anything outdoors with his family.

Greg Brock

CSCS, TSAC-F - Manager

Greg is a Colorado native who joined the Next Level team in 2018. He graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. After graduation, he went on to obtain his Strength and Conditioning Specialist Certification as well as his Tactical Strength and Conditioning Facilitator certifications through the NSCA. Greg is also certified in personalized blood flow restriction therapy through Owen’s Recovery Science. He has worked with athletes of all skills and sports from professional to youth. He specializes in team sports, injury reduction, and post-physical therapy return-to-play. Greg has played sports his whole life and played football at the college level. In his free time he enjoys working out, trail running, playing pick up basketball, and spending time with his wife Lizz, son Jax, and dog Dolly Parton.

Kylie Clark

DPT, OCS, CSCS

Kylie joined the Next Level team in August of 2016. She grew up in Noblesville, Indiana playing a variety of sports including basketball and soccer. The injuries she sustained while playing those sports led her to pursue a career in physical therapy. She received her BA in Exercise Science and a minor in Spanish from Hope College in Holland, Michigan where she also played four years of varsity soccer for the Flying Dutch. Upon graduating from Hope, she moved to Colorado to pursue her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Colorado Denver. Kylie is a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, certified in Level 2 functional dry needling through KinetaCore and Blood Flow Restriction Training through Owens Recovery Science. She is also a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Kylie enjoys playing soccer, tennis, camping, hiking, and snowboarding and spending time with friends and family both in Colorado and in Indiana.

Kylie Bauman

DPT, OCS

Kylie joined the Next Level team in January of 2017. She is originally from Craig Colorado. She grew up playing a variety of sports including gymnastics, basketball, and track. Injuries through these sports and the want to optimize physical therapy and return to sport for others led her to pursue a career in physical therapy. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology/Exercise Science from Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, Colorado. Upon completion, she moved to Denver to pursue her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. She is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association- Orthopedics section and is a board certified orthopedic clinical specialist. She is also certified in level 2 functional dry needling through KinetaCore. Kylie enjoys all things related to water (avid water skier), the outdoors of Colorado, and spending time with friends and family.

Cody Gibbs

PTA

Cody joined the Next Level team in March 2018. He received his Bachelors of Science from Colorado State University before continuing to earn his Associate of Occupational Studies – Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Pima Medical Institute. He is also certified through Owens Recovery Science in Blood Flow Restrictions. He is a Colorado native who grew up playing football, lacrosse, and snowboarding. Cody’s passion for sports and helping others lead him to pursue his career in physical therapy. He is an active person who enjoys rock climbing, snowboarding, concerts, visiting local breweries, and enjoying all the outdoor activities Colorado has to offer.

Taylor Johnson

DPT, OCS

Taylor joined the Next Level team in May 2018. She is a Colorado native, born and raised in Boulder. She received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at University of Wisconsin-Madison. She went through several years of physical therapy after multiple shoulder injuries and her experience inspired her to pursue her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Washington University-St. Louis, where she graduated in 2014. She is an active member of the American Physical Therapy-Orthopedics section. Taylor is a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. Taylor is also certified in level 1+2 functional dry needling through KinetaCore. Taylor enjoys all things outdoors including biking, hiking, skiing and camping, especially with her husband, son and Vizsla. She is a die-hard Wisconsin Badger and Packer fan and enjoys watching and playing a variety of sports.

Marie Pollock

DPT

Marie originally joined the Next Level team in January 2019 as part of a DPT residency/internship program and came back for more fun as of September 2020! She is a Colorado native and grew up playing competitive soccer. During high school, she endured three major knee injuries resulting in three ACL/meniscus repairs and LOTS of rehab! Because of this, she was introduced to the world of sports medicine and fell in love with physical therapy as a means to help athletes get back to the sport they love. Marie received her B.S. in Exercise Science from Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, CO and went on to pursue her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. She is certified in dry needling and blood flow restriction (BFR) training. Nowadays, Marie enjoys hiking, camping, soccer, and CrossFit as well as exploring Colorado and spending time with family and friends.

Annie Leavitt

DPT

Annie began at Next Level in January 2021 after completing her final rotation at Next Level and earning her Doctor of Physical Therapy from CU Anschutz. Originally from Southern California, Annie made the move to Colorado to enjoy the increased access to rock climbing and trails. Annie graduated from Oregon State University with her BS in Exercise Science in 2013 which was followed by a few years working in the outdoor industry before a wrist injury and subsequent surgery brought her back to PT. This experience reignited her excitement to become a physical therapist where she would have the opportunity to help those in her community get back to the activities they love. Annie is certified in dry needling through the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy and a level one Functional Gait Specialist. When not at work, Annie splits her time between trail running, rock climbing, skiing with her husband, and hiking with her dog.

Tyler Moore

DPT

Tyler joined the Next Level team in January 2022 after completing his DPT from University of Colorado – Anschutz. He is from Aspen, CO where he grew up skiing and was heavily involved in athletics. Tyler played collegiate hockey at CU Boulder where he graduated in 2012 with a business degree in marketing. He then worked in the sport and entertainment industry for several years before pursuing a career in physical therapy. As an active member of the APTA, Tyler is committed to continuing his professional growth to help Next Level patients achieve their personal goals. Tyler and his wife enjoy spending as much time outside as possible with their dog Leroy.

Cory Center

PTA
Cory joined the Next Level team in 2023 after receiving his Associate of Occupational Studies – Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Arapahoe Community College. He started his academic career at Baker University where he played collegiate soccer. He then ran two food truck businesses in Denver before jumping back into school to become a PTA. He is a Colorado native from Louisville Colorado, who has been involved in athletics and played semiprofessional soccer for the Real Colorado Foxes. His dedication to personal and professional growth pushes him to continue his education in various areas. He is a certified soccer coach through NSCAA and CSYA. Sarina Perret

DPT

Sarina joined the Next Level team in February 2023 after completing her DPT from University of Colorado - Anschutz. She is from Nederland, CO. where she grew up skiing and playing ice hockey. Sarina played collegiate hockey at Colorado State University where she graduated with a degree in Health and Exercise Science - Sports Medicine. Following undergrad, she decided to be a "professional ski bum" by coaching and ski patrolling for a few seasons before attending physical therapy school. Sarina is an active member of the APTA and has special interests in ACL recovery and adolescent sports medicine. While not at work, you can find Sarina skiing, mountain biking, rock climbing, and generally playing outside with her partner and their dogs Luna and Kanga.

Keith Goodenough

DPT

Keith joined the Next Level team in March 2023. He is originally from Ithaca, New York but has been living on the West Coast for the past 4 years. He most recently moved from Pheonix, AZ and is very excited to explore Colorado. He grew up playing a variety of sports including baseball, basketball, hockey, and football which inadvertently led to injuries which required physical therapy, opening his eyes to the world of rehabilitaion. Keith graduated with a Bachelor of Science from West Virginia University and then returned back to his home state in NY to complete the Doctor of Physical Therapy program from the University at Buffalo. Following graduation, Keith developed a strong understanding of therapy in multiple realms including SNF, home health, and finally outpatient, which he has grown to love. Keith has participated in various programs advancing his skills in clinical reasoning and recognition, manual therapy, manipulation, and is certified in dry needling. Outside of the clinic, you could find Keith participating in just about any outdoor sport including mountain biking, climbing, snowboarding, and hiking. He enjoys challenging himself with new skills and likes meeting people from every walk of life.

Mekala Henderson

CSCS, CPT

Mekala joined Next Level in 2018 and has been a fitness professional for over 7 years with experience helping clients of all levels achieve their fitness goals. She completed her bachelors degree in May 2017 and has both a Strength and Conditioning certification as well as a personal trainer certification. Currently Mekala is working on her Corrective Exercise certification to keep her knowledge up to date and to be of even more help to the clients at Next Level. She is also certified through Owens Recovery Science in Blood Flow Restrictions.. While not at work Mekala is a current Nationally Qualified bikini bodybuilding competitor with 6 competitions under her belt with the last three she prepped herself. Her other activities include trap shooting, hiking, camping, travelling and spending time with her family and four legged friends.

Tes Hass

Tes, a Colorado native from Loveland, joined the Next Level team in December of 2019. She graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver with a degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Nutrition. While at MSU Denver, she played collegiate softball. Tes has been in athletics since she was little which created the pursuit of this field. After multiple knee injuries, she found a greater passion to help those in the aspect of sports performance as well as the return to sport. In her spare time, Tes likes to workout, travel, and spend time with friends and family.

Bobby Johnson

Bobby is a Colorado native from the Boulder area. Bobby graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver with a degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Nutrition. Upon completing his final internship at Next Level, he joined the team full-time in December 2020. He is currently working on getting his Strength and Conditioning Specialist Certification through the NSCA. Growing up sports was a large focus in Bobby’s life, playing football, lacrosse, and basketball. After going through his share of injuries and never receiving the proper treatment, he found a passion for sports performance and helping with the recovery process. He enjoys playing golf, being outdoors, and watching any type of sport.

Robert Hulstrom


Robert is a Colorado native who joined the Next Level team in 2022. He graduated from Metropolitan State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science with a minor in nutrition. After completing his internship rotation over the Summer of 2022, he joined the team full time. He is currently working towards his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification (CSCS). Robert grew up playing a variety of sports such as baseball, football, taekwondo, basketball, soccer, volleyball, and track and went on to run track in college at Metro State. When he is not coaching, he enjoys volunteering as a coach and unified partner for Special Olympics Colorado where he has been an active volunteer since he was 8. He also enjoys spending his time outside with his family and his dogs Nuke and Duke.

Emma was born and raised in Golden, Colorado. She grew up playing competitive soccer and had many injuries that Next Level helped rehab. After high school, she went on to play collegiate soccer for Colorado Mesa University and graduated with a degree in Counseling Psychology. In her free time, she loves to exercise, spend time with her friends and family, and explore new places.
