Jim opened Next Level Sports Performance doors in 2004, following a 10-year career as the assistant athletic trainer for the National Football League's (NFL's) Denver Broncos. This was an experience that gave him unique insight into elite-level training and rehabilitation techniques that he now shares with clients through his personalized approach. Overall, Jim is backed by more than 20 years of experience in working with injured and non-injured professional and collegiate athletes. A Colorado native, he earned his bachelor's degree in exercise science at Fort Lewis College and his master's degree in kinesiology from University of Northern Colorado. Today, Jim is an active member of the National Athletic Trainers Association, the Colorado Athletic Trainers Association and the Rocky Mountain Athletic Trainer's Society and speaks frequently at both local and national industry symposiums.
Joining the Next Level team in 2007, Brad Walters couples physical therapy with sports performance. As a former collegiate athlete who continues to enjoy numerous sports and activities, Brad Walters understands firsthand the physical demands and challenges confronting today's athletes and sports enthusiasts. His personal experience coupled with his extensive background in orthopedic and spinal rehabilitation provides an ideal foundation from which to apply his expertise as a Next Level team member. This personalized approach allows Brad to assist each client in establishing and achieving incremental goals, based on their specific rehabilitation needs and objectives. Brad combines hands on therapeutic treatment techniques with functional based exercises that are tailored to both the home and clinic environments. Brad graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder, majoring in kinesiology. He subsequently earned a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University Of Colorado Health Sciences Center. He has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and Orthopedic Section since 2002. He has taken numerous continuing education courses including, spinal thrust manipulation, upper cervical treatment, TMJ, running courses, strain counterstrain and has been lucky enough to be involved with the Rocky Mountain Shoulder and Elbow Society. A Colorado native, Brad enjoys four full seasons of active endeavors throughout the state, including hiking, golf, fly-fishing, skiing and spending time with his wife. TOP
Joe joined the Next Level team in January 2008. Joe has spent his whole life in the sports world both as an athlete and a coach. Joe began his healthcare career by working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from the University of Northern Colorado where he also worked in cancer rehabilitation. The next chapter for Joe was obtaining his Doctoral of Physical Therapy degree from University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Joe graduated in 2008, and has loved every minute of his initial career as an orthopedic physical therapist. As a member of the Next Level team Joe was able to attend a continuing education course in specialized treatment of the hip. Since Joe has specialized in manual and therapeutic interventions for a wide variety of hip syndromes. Joe enjoys maximizing manual based interventions combined with specific exercise for all Next Level patients. The next goal in continuing education for Joe is pursuit of his Orthopedic Certified Specialist certification. Joe enjoys spending as much time as possible with his high school sweetheart and wife Crystal. They both recently finished their first half marathon, and look forward to future races. Joe’s other hobbies include wakeboarding, golf, poker and playing with his two beagles. TOP
Mike joined the Next Level team in the summer of 2008. As a Next Level Physical Therapist Mike combines a practice of physical therapy based on best available evidence and sound clinical reasoning. Mike graduated from Utah State University with a dual major in Exercise Science and Health Education. Most recently he earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University Of Colorado Health Sciences Center. His next goal is to obtain an Orthopedic Certified Specialist certification from the APTA. Through his experience working with collegiate athletes at Utah State as well as the many recreational enthusiasts eager to revitalize their activity levels, he is able to tailor challenging and effective treatment plans that meet the desires of each patient’s goals. He is also an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 2005. Outside of his professional endeavors he enjoys the many outdoor recreational opportunities Colorado has to offer with his family. TOP
Andrea has been at Next Level since summer of 2007. Andrea attended the University Of Ball State where she was a 4 year student athlete on the gymnastics team. Following her graduation at Ball State she attended PIMA where she received her Physical Therapy Assistant degree. Andrea’s personal experience of injuries through gymnastics gives her a unique look and better understanding of the rehabilitation process. TOP

Zeron has been with the Next Level team since summer 2007. Zeron originally came to Next Level Sports Performance after tearing his Achilles in training camp with the New England Patriots. After a long and extensive rehabilitation here at Next Level, he was able to complete one more year in the National Football League with the Oakland Raiders. Zeron brings 12 years of fitness knowledge to Next Level. Zeron went to the University of Iowa where he was a 5-year student-athlete with the Football team. After college Zeron signed with the Washington Redskins were he played Tight End for four seasons. After playing for the Redskins, he signed with the Patriots where he was injured in training camp. Zeron played the last season of his career in 2005/2006 with the Oakland Raiders. Zeron and his lovely wife, Corie, are enjoying a new member to their family. Their daughter Maya Corinne Flemister was born on April 24, 2007. TOP

Shane has been with the Next Level team since the summer of 2007. Shane originally came to Next Level Sports Performance from a Tibia/ Fibula fracture. He knows first hand what it takes to get back from a major setback. Shane believes that being a great inspirational leader means helping all clients believe that with "hard work" and "clear goals", they can achieve all of their life and fitness goals.
Shane holds a four year degree in exercise science from Carthage College in Kenosha Wisconsin, and a Masters degree in exercise science from the University of Northern Colorado. Prior to working at Next Level, Shane had a ten year stay with the sports nutrition company EAS. His responsibilities included managing the world renowned Body-for-LIFE Challenge and overseeing the day to day operations of the on-site Human Performance Fitness Center available to all EAS employees and contract athletes. Samantha became a member of the Next Level team in June 2009. She attended the University of Texas in Austin where she was a student athlete on the women’s fast pitch softball team. She later transferred to and graduated from Colorado State University earning a bachelor’s degree in Journalism. After three years on the local Fox Sports Network production crew Samantha chose to explore a different side of the sports world and found that in Next Level. In her spare time Samantha enjoys training for marathons, bicycling and spending time outdoors with her husband and their son.

Sherry officially joined the staff as Administrative Assistant in the Summer of 2008. She has been involved behind the scenes and decided to come on board this year. She opted to join the team at Next Level, instead of returning to her previous profession of teaching. Sherry is a graduate of Fort Lewis College, where she excelled as a Collegiate Cross Country runner. Sherry’s passion for the outdoors and exercise is a welcome addition to the staff. TOP
Nadine joined the Next Level team in February 2008. She was looking to use her degree after having two kids. She played basketball and soccer at Mesa State College where she graduated with her accounting degree. She is responsible for the accounting aspects of the business. TOP
